Bachelor of Audiology Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) is a four year medical degree course having major subjects as Speech pathology, Language pathology and Audiology. Audiology is the study of hearing impairment and balance disorders. Audiologists are specialized for medical management of hearing and balance systems

They specialize in the study of Rehabilitation of Persons with hearings & balance disorders, Normal & impaired hearing, Prevention of Hearing Loss, Identification & assessment of hearing & balance problems

The speech language pathologists are specialized in human communication systems and its disorders

Eligibility

The basic eligibility for the course is 10+2/equivalent with 50% and above for 4 year degree program

Physics, Chemistry, Biology are mandatory subjects. Few universities demanding mathematics also as a mandatory subjects
